Failte, Ceud Mile Failte
(Welcome, a hundred thousand welcomes!)
Washington State Scottish Heritage Society is all about preserving and promoting Scottish Heritage in the State of Washington. We are a new organization, but with over a 100 years of involvement in the Washington Scottish community. Our board members are committed to making this the best Scottish Heritage Society outside of Scotland. Visit our ABOUT US page to meet our board members.
On our CALENDAR page you can view a variety of Scottish events. This is updated on a regular basis. If you were wondering what to do on a weekend you can find out what is happening in the Scottish Community from dance recitals, Robert Burns Dinners, the Highland Games, to band concerts.
Our LINKS page gives you contacts for Washington State Scottish Bagpipe Bands, Bagpipe instructors, Scottish Clans, Highland Games, Highland Dance groups, Highland Danced instructors, Scottish Country Dancers, Scottish Retail organizations, Scottish Sports, Gaelic instruction, and other Scottish Organizations.
You can show your support of the Washington State Scottish Heritage Society and the Scottish community by visiting the LICENSE PLATE page and signing the intent to purchase the Scottish Heritage License Plate. The proceeds from the Scottish Heritage License Plate will go to supporting Scottish heritage through the State of Washington.
Note: By signing the intent form you are showing your intent not obligating yourself to the purchase of the license plate. We need to show the Washington State Department of Licensing that there is a real interest in this license plate.
You can also show your support for the Washington State Scottish Heritage Society by visiting the SUPPORT US/MEMBERSHIP page and sending in your membership or advertizing your organization with us.
Our NEWSLETTER page will keep you updated of what the Washington State Scottish Heritage Society is doing and any new events we hear about.
What can you do for us beyond membership? If you know of an event, group, or organization we don't have listed or if you have any ideas or suggestions, PLEASE CONTACT us and let us know!
We are committed to bringing your Scottish Heritage to you!
We are affiliated with a nonprofit 501c(3) organization.
